As designers we often look at tattoos as a way to express our creativity and wit and make a statement about our passions.
Next time you consider a tattoo, consider a classic typeface, or typographic design element—look for things with historic meaning that stand for your appreciation and dedication to good design.

So that's the tattoo end of things, but in general designers are , well, designy. They like to dress in ways that reflect their personal aesthetic. All of these things are an extension of their work—what they thrive on. Websites like svpply.com produced by Ben Pieratt make it easy for designers to look through an impressive assortment of cool apparel and gear all in one spot. I have never personally been one to dress up, but even I could not resist the lovely vintage book cover t-shirt prints at Out of Print.
